Not that long ago, a sea turtle could live its entire life without encountering a single piece of plastic.

Today, plastic pollution is everywhere — in the ocean, on beaches, and even inside the animals that call these habitats home, including every single species of sea turtle. And too often, this plastic pollution drowns, suffocates, or chokes the sea turtles unlucky enough to get too close.
