Tell the federal government to make reducing single-use plastic in its purchases mandatory

Our country has a serious plastic pollution problem, and our oceans and the animals that call them home are paying the price. As the single-largest consumer of goods and services in the world, the U.S. government can make a big dent in the amount of plastic pollution entering our environment by reducing the amount of single-use plastic packaging it purchases.

I urge the administration to update its proposed rule and make single-use plastic reductions mandatory, not voluntary.
