Tell your governor: Hold plastic producers responsible for the waste their products become

Microplastics, tiny particles less than five millimeters in diameter, have permeated our oceans, rivers, parks and even the air we breathe. Over time, these minute plastic particles — created when plastic degrades — will become even more pervasive.

Tell your governor to support producer responsibility for packaging and other single-use plastic products to help reduce the amount of plastics that end up in our environment.
