Tell your U.S. representative to protect the Tonto National Forest from mining

The rugged Tonto National Forest is a unique desert landscape with both towering saguaro cacti and ancient oak trees. But a proposed mine in the Oak Flat area of the forest could demolish ancient oak groves, threaten local waterways, and create a massive toxic waste dump.

Mining in this forest is an ecological nightmare waiting to happen. Tell your member of Congress to protect Oak Flat and the Tonto National Forest from destructive mining.
