Another Big Development in the 100% Clean Energy Movement

Last week, we saw another big development in the 100 percent clean energy movement when the Sierra Club launched their #Readyfor100 campaign. This campaign sets a goal of getting 100 U.S. cities to transition to 100 percent renewables by 2035.
As we’ve noted in earlier posts, cities have been at the forefront of sustainability. Aspen, Colorado; Burlington, Vermont; and Greensburg, Kansas have already transitioned to 100%, while San Diego, the 8th largest city in the United States, has committed to do so by 2035. They are key to the clean energy transition we need to protect our health, our environment and our children’s futures. We look forward to working with the Sierra Club and others to move our cities to 100 percent renewables!
