Tell CalRecycle: Burning plastic is not recycling

Plastic pollution harms our environment and marine life. We need to reduce plastic waste, but the plastic industry is pushing a false solution — “chemical recycling.”

“Chemical recycling” is a term invented to hide where plastic is truly going — the incinerator. Burning plastic releases toxic chemicals into the air and it is definitely not recycling. Tell CalRecycle: No “chemical recycling” in California.
