Washington State’s largest solar farm comes online
The Lund Hill solar farm in Klickitat County is online and producing power. At approximately 1800 acres, it's the largest solar farm in Washington State.

The newly operational 150MW Lund Hill solar farm in Klickitat County was built by solar developer Avangrid on approximately 1,800 acres leased from private landowners and the Washington Department of Natural Resources.
More than 40 customers have signed up to receive power from the project through Puget Sound Energy’s Green Direct program, among them the Washington Department of Health, The Department of Ecology, and the Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
“When we power our lives with clean energy we reduce air pollution that comes from burning fossil fuels, said Pam Clough, Advocate with Environment Washington Research & Policy Center. “Washington has abundant solar potential – enough to power the state 21 times over. It’s exciting to see projects moving forward that harness the Evergreen State’s abundant renewable energy potential.”
