Long-time Aspenite Hal Harvey will be at Aspen’s Explore Booksellers Bookstore on Thursday, December 29th, from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.

Hal Harvey will be interviewed by Pitkin County Supervisor Greg Poschmanabout his career efforts to combat climate change. Hal and Greg will also be discussing Hal’s books The Big Fix and Money Well Spent.

Hal Harvey is the CEO of Energy Innovation Policy and Technology, which provides high-quality research and analysis regarding sustainable energy practices to policymakers, and President of Climate Imperative. His resume of work and awards in the field of sustainable energy go back almost 40 years. Hal’s mother, Aspen Hall of Famer Connie Harvey, was one of the Maroon Belles, three women who worked for nearly forty years to preserve the White River National Forest.
