As spring blooms, endangered rusty patched bumblebees are among the first to emerge from hibernation to search for plants to pollinate.

But when they do, they’ll find more than nutritious nectar. They’ll also encounter the toxic pesticides that helped drive their 90% decline in numbers since the 1990s. Our Save the Bees campaign is pulling out all the stops to protect the rusty patched bumblebee, and we’re calling on the EPA to ban the pesticides that harm them unless and until they can be proven safe.
