Our Conservation team stands up for Arctic in D.C.

Our national network’s staff are a voice in the nation’s capital for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the polar bears, caribou and migratory birds that call it home.

Our network’s Conservation team—led by Public Lands Advocate Erik DuMont and Conservation Fellow Jamie Lockwood—joined a broad coalition of environmental groups to stand up for the Arctic Refuge. On Sept. 12, the bill passed with a bipartisan 225-193 vote.
