Coal plants are responsible for nearly one-third of toxic industrial water pollution in the United States. Toxic heavy metals from coal, including mercury and arsenic, are polluting our waterways. We’re working to convince the EPA to require coal companies to do a better job cleaning up toxic water pollution.
