I want to inspire others to protect our planet

Kamebry Wagner
Environment Illinois Conservation Intern

My name is Kamebry Wagner, and I am a Conservation Intern with Environment Illinois. I am a recent graduate from Indiana University, where I obtained Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Environmental Sustainability, with concentrations in Justice and Natural Resource Conservation. As a lifelong outdoor adventurer, I am always looking for ways I can give back to our environment and encourage others to care for nature. My evenings and weekends are often spent hiking and backpacking with my dog, Cricket, in the forests of Indiana. I am thrilled to join this amazing team that is committed to working towards meaningful change. I am confident that during my time with Environment Illinois, I will grow as an advocate and learn how to elevate environmental issues in a way that inspires others to act.
