I’m working to advance meaningful campaigns

Cate Osborne
Environment Illinois Intern

My name is Cate Osborne, and I am a public engagement intern with Environment Illinois. I am a second-year student at Northwestern University, pursuing majors in global history and political science with a minor in environmental policy and culture. During the summer, I work as a river guide in Idaho and Oregon. I can always be found enjoying time spent outside whether it’s on the Appalachian Trail in my home state of Maryland, the beaches of Lake Michigan while at school, or the rivers out West during the summer. I’m excited to work alongside the Environment Illinois team to advance meaningful campaigns and push for progress. My goals include involving more people in our campaigns and learning from experienced environmental advocates. I can’t wait to get to work!
