Clean energy

A million solar roofs for Massachusetts

Anatoliy Gleb |

Dear governor,

Every day, there’s a practically limitless source of pollution-free energy shining down on the roofs of our homes and businesses. Solar energy is clean, healthy and local, and we should be doing more to tap into energy from the sun.

By 2030, Massachusetts can install 10 gigawatts of solar energy capacity, the equivalent of 1 million solar roofs. When we power our lives with solar energy, our air will be cleaner, our families will be healthier, and we’ll help prevent the worst impacts of global warming.

Massachusetts should install 1 million rooftops’ worth of solar by 2030. Please do everything in your power to accelerate the growth of solar energy.
