Join the petition: Save the whales

Whales — majestic and deeply loved by many Americans — are swimming off our coasts. While the days of industrial whaling are over, many of these beloved marine mammals face new threats from boat strikes, fishing gear entanglement and more.

To keep these ocean giants swimming off our shores for generations to come, we need to do more to reduce threats facing whales, from slowing down boats in key whale habitats to investing in new fishing technologies and monitoring efforts to keep track of new threats.
