Tell Amazon: Stop selling bee-killing neonic pesticides

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy,

Across the country, bees are struggling.

Thousands of honeybee colonies were lost in the last year alone, while the iconic American bumblebee population has fallen by nearly 90% in the past two decades.

In spite of these statistics, we continue releasing millions of pounds of neonicotinoid pesticides into our environment. These potent neurotoxins are devastating to bee health — even minimal exposure can negatively impact a hive for generations.

As the largest online retailer in the world, Amazon has the potential to set an example in bee conservation by halting its sale of neonicotinoid pesticides. I am urging you to be part of the solution and prioritize the health of our pollinators today.
