National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service:

We, the undersigned, support the proposals to designate new areas of critical habitat and protect existing critical habitat for threatened and endangered green sea turtles so that they may live, nest, feed and migrate safely.

Green sea turtles face myriad threats to their populations, including vessel strikes, bycatch, habitat loss, pollution, light pollution, marine debris and more. Protecting green sea turtle habitat on land and at sea would give them a fighting chance at recovery and is essential to the conservation of the species.

Any efforts that can help conserve and protect endangered and threatened green sea turtle populations and their habitats should be implemented immediately.

Sincerely,
