Tell the EPA: Protect our oceans from nurdles
Dear EPA Administrator Regan,
Most plastic products are made from tiny plastic pellets called nurdles that cause big problems for our environment and health. The plastic industry dumps or spills trillions of these pellets into our waterways each year, and they can take hundreds of years to degrade. Meanwhile, they’re polluting our rivers and threatening our health.
Companies shouldn’t be allowed to pollute our waterways with microplastic. I urge you to prohibit the discharge of nurdles into our waters.
