Take action to protect the endangered eastern regal fritillary butterfly

Re: Document ID FWS-R6-ES-2023-0182-0001

The eastern regal fritillary butterfly is on the brink of extinction. This rare insect is now only found in one place on Earth.

The regal fritillary needs a very specific habitat to survive. Only by protecting rich grasslands with the tall grasses and violet plants the fritillary needs can we protect this species from extinction.

The Endangered Species Act is the best tool we have for rescuing wildlife populations in peril. I strongly urge you to grant the eastern regal fritillary endangered status under the ESA.
