Since 1997, the western monarch butterfly population has dropped from 1.2 million to just 2,000. One of the biggest reasons is the loss of milkweed — a plant that monarch caterpillars need to grow and metamorphosize.

But dangerous pesticides across the country have contributed to the loss of 1.3 billion milkweed stems, leaving young butterflies weak and hungry. We’re working to pass more laws that ban or reduce the use of these pesticides. Will you help save monarch butterflies with a donation today?
