Defend the forests of the Pacific Northwest

The Pacific Northwest is home to some of the most magnificent forests in the country — and for 30 years, the Northwest Forest Plan has successfully protected millions of acres of key wildlife habitat from destructive clear-cutting.

But after decades of industry lobbying, the U.S. Forest Service has proposed revisions to the Northwest Forest Plan that would open over 800,000 acres of mature forests to commercial logging and potentially double or even triple the amount of logging in the region.
