North Carolina is a high-risk state for wildlife vehicle collisions, ranked 12th by State Farm Insurance for highest risk in the US. The good news is that more wildlife crossings will save lives: effective wildlife crossings have reduced animal-vehicle collisions by up to 97%. The North Carolina legislature is considering whether to fund wildlife crossings across the state. Together we can make sure they see it through.
