Urge the EPA to phase out toxic atrazine

I’m writing to urge the Environmental Protection Agency to prioritize the health of our citizens and the environment and ban the pesticide atrazine.

Atrazine has been linked to birth defects, cancer and reproductive issues, and can devastate contaminated ecosystems. It has already been banned in 60 countries, and yet it is among the most prevalent pesticides used in the U.S. Due to this widespread use, atrazine is detected in water supplies with more regularity than any other pesticide.

It is time to put the health of the American people and the country’s waterways first and foremost, and phase out atrazine.
