Tell your U.S. senators: Hold polluters responsible for the contamination of farmland with PFAS-tainted fertilizer

Millions of acres of America’s farmland have been contaminated by fertilizer tainted by PFAS — a class of “forever chemicals” linked to various health issues including kidney disease and cancer.

The companies responsible for selling this fertilizer are now lobbying Congress to grant them immunity from lawsuits to clean up the fields they helped pollute. The livelihoods of farmers and the safety of our food have been put at risk. Tell your U.S. senators that farmers should be able to sue these fertilizer companies to assist in clean-up.
