Tell Sysco: Stop using harmful single-use plastics

We are urging you to reduce your plastic packaging and the waste it contributes to our ongoing plastic pollution problem. Every year, more than 1 million marine animals die from plastic waste, choking on bags or succumbing to microplastic pollution. These tragic outcomes underscore a growing global crisis, one largely fueled by our continued dependence on single-use plastics.

There is no reason the food used in our schools, hospitals and institutions should contribute to this ongoing environmental and ecological problem. That’s why we’re urging you to reduce your single-use plastic packaging.
