Clean The Delaware River

The Delaware River supports abundant wildlife and attracts over 500,000 people annually to boat, camp and hike in the region.

Yet each year, the Philadelphia Water Department dumps nearly 15 billion gallons of untreated sewage and stormwater into the Delaware River.

The Philadelphia stretch of the Delaware River is so polluted that it’s unsafe for contact on nearly 130 days out of the year. To protect the Delaware River, we’re calling on decision makers to upgrade PWD’s inadequate sewage and stormwater systems.
