Nothing we use for 5 minutes should pollute our environment for years to come. We joined the Allegheny County Council Committee on Sustainability and Green Initiatives’ hearing about single-use plastic pollution on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. The hearing took place in conference room 1 of the Allegheny County Courthouse in downtown Pittsburgh, and was broadcast via Microsoft Teams for those who attended virtually.

The event recording is below.

Allegheny County Council was joined by Pittsburgh City Councilmember Erika Strassburger, Penn State Behrend Director of Sustainability Dr. Sherri Mason, Allegheny Cleanways Executive Director Myrna Newman, and PennEnvironment Zero Waste Advocate Faran Savitz.
