Energy

It’s time for our country to conserve more energy, use the energy we do have more wisely and efficiently, and rely only on sources of energy that are clean, renewable and leave less environmental damage in their wake.

Environment America is working to reduce energy waste, convince companies that own and operate buildings with big, flat, sunny roofs to use them to generate electricity from the sun, build public support for and win policies that will help America run on renewable energy.

Priorities

Clean energy

Clean, renewable energy is within our reach — all we have to do is seize the opportunities around us.

Solar power

The future of solar energy is bright and it will help us power our lives with clean, renewable energy.

Wind power

America has an almost unlimited resource of wind blowing off our coasts and across our lands, and we can use it to power more of our lives.
