Support our effort to take on illegal polluters in Pennsylvania

PennEnvironment just negotiated a settlement that imposes a historic Clean Air Act penalty against U.S. Steel Corporation for thousands of air pollution violations at the company’s three Pittsburgh-area facilities: the Clairton Coke Works and the Edgar Thomson and Irvin steel mills. This is the largest penalty of its kind against an illegal air polluter in Pennsylvania history, and one of the three largest in the 50-year history of the federal Clean Air Act.
Help us continue to defend local communities against illegal air and water polluters by making a contribution today.
