Protect our rivers and streams from plastic pollution
We found microplastics in 50 of Pennsylvania's cleanest rivers and streams. It's time to stop throwing away tons of foam cups, plastic bags and other plastic "stuff" we can easily live without.
Tomorrow evening, September 21st, join the PennEnvironment Research & Policy Center and the Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) for a webinar on recycling in the Keystone State.
Act 101 is Pennsylvania’s cornerstone recycling law, but it’s been largely unchanged since the 1980’s. The webinar will discuss a new report that lays out a path for bringing Pennsylvania’s antiquated recycling laws into the 21st Century and how to make the Keystone State a leader in the effort to rein in solid waste.
The webinar will be held over Zoom on Wednesday September 21 at 6:00pm.
