New Resource: Clean Energy Commonwealth Map
PennEnvironment Research & Policy Center has released a new interactive map of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects across PA. The Clean Energy Commonwealth features one project from each of the state’s 67 counties.
From Erie County to Philadelphia County and from Wayne County to Greene County, exciting renewable energy projects are on the rise in counties all across the Keystone State. In red, blue and purple counties, and across rural, suburban and urban counties, Pennsylvania communities are making huge strides to bring wind, solar, and energy efficiency projects online at a rapid clip.
Watch the press conference on Facebook and check out some of the great news articles about the map from MicroGrid Media, Lehigh Valley Live, and WJAC TV.
The total energy production of the projects highlighted in this map is enough to power more than half a million Pennsylvanian homes annually, and these case studies are just the tip of the clean energy iceberg in the Keystone State.
If you have a renewable energy or energy efficiency project in your town, share it on social media. Tag @PennEnvironment and use the #CleanEnergyCommonwealth for the chance to be added to the map!
