Tell Congress: Keep our beaches safe for swimming
We need Congress to renew the bipartisan BEACH Act to keep swimmers safe from pollution.
Philadelphians and New Jerseyans may not see eye-to-eye on everything, but one thing we can all agree on is needing to keep the Delaware River clean. That’s why PennEnvironment Field Director, Flora Cardoni, joined the Upstream Alliance, American Littoral Society, and more than 75 concerned residents from around the region for Floatopia: a group float down the Delaware and Rally for the River.

Floatopia served as an important reminder that we all want a clean Delaware River for fishing, boating, swimming, and floating. In order to deliver the promise of a clean Delaware River, it’s critical that elected officials from both sides of the river take action to protect it.
We need Congress to renew the bipartisan BEACH Act to keep swimmers safe from pollution.
