PennEnvironment Staff spent time this week building support for our Reconnecting PA campaign to protect wildlife. We’re working to support a bipartisan proposal to take the crucial first steps toward establishing wildlife corridors here in Pennsylvania.

In our time in State College and Bellefonte, we mobilized more than 700 local residents and a dozen small businesses who want their leaders to take action to reconnect fragmented wildlife habitat.

Pennsylvania lawmakers can move forward on wildlife corridors, but they’ll need to vote one more time on House Resolution 74 before it expires at the end of the year. This grassroots momentum gets us that much closer to making that a reality.
