PennEnvironment staff will be visiting State College next week (Sept. 12-15) to build support for our campaign to protect Pennsylvania’s most crucial—yet vulnerable—wildlife habitat. If you’re in State College, we hope you’ll join us!

Wildlife habitat is rapidly disappearing. Every minute, the U.S. loses two football fields worth of forests, meadows and more. To help protect Pennsylvania’s wildlife, we need to create and preserve wildlife corridors that help wildlife move safely and migrate between habitats, decreasing human-wildlife conflict and keeping wildlife populations safe and healthy.

So PennEnvironment is building support for a bipartisan proposal in the state legislature that will take the first critical steps to help protect Pennsylvania’s wildlife habitat.

PennEnvironment staff will be mobilizing support for this proposal and protecting Pennsylvania’s wildlife in State College next–if you’re in the area we hope you’ll join us! We’ll be  hosting a volunteer action meet-up and letter writing party on Monday Sept. 12th at 6pm in Sunset Park. It’ll be a great chance to learn more about PennEnvironment and our campaign to protect wildlife corridors, to take a quick (but important!) action to protect habitat,  and to meet other folks who care about these issues. Swing by and join us!
