As a self-described treehugger, I’m really into clean energy policy

State Representative Chris Rabb serves the 200th house district and is a champion for renewable energy policy here in Pennsylvania. During the 7th Annual Grown Folks Fest, Rep. Rabb shared with PennEnvironment his passion for clean energy and environmental responsibility.

“As a self-described treehugger, I’m really into clean energy policy, climate action, environmental sustainability, environmental justice. It impacts us in all aspects of our life, whether we know it or not, whether we like it or not.

“So it’s really important that we understand the value and importance and primacy of environmental and energy policy because they’re linked together.”

“I will continue to work in partnership with PennEnvironment as we move climate action forward and make it a priority. The Biden Administration has made it a priority with the Inflation Reduction Act, which is the largest investment in clean energy and environmental sustainability in world history. And there’s so much more than we can expect going forward.”
