Bart works on federal water policy in the Washington, D.C., office. He advocates to protect rivers and drinking water from pollution. Before joining Environment America, Bart was a Legislative Clerk for the U.S. Senate and Environmental Coordinator for the Israel-Palestine Center (IPCRI). Bart previously focused on environmental issues in the Middle East, including transboundary river restoration and ecosystem service assessment in Israel, Jordan, and the West Bank. Bart lives in Washington, D.C., where he captains an ultimate frisbee team and plays the flute in his spare time.
