Bart Johnsen-Harris directs the federal clean water campaign for Environment America in Washington, D.C., where he advocates to protect our rivers and drinking water from pollution. Previously, he served as a Legislative Clerk in the U.S. Senate and as a researcher at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. Bart spent several years working with small environmental nonprofits in the Middle East, organizing back-channel negotiations and liaising between researchers in Israel, Jordan, and the West Bank. He holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Brown University.
