Brian Zabcik

Brian Zabcik is the Clean Air & Clean Water Advocate at Environment Texas. He is currently working on a campaign to increase the use of green stormwater infrastructure elements such as rain gardens, green roofs, and rain harvesting. Before joining Environment Texas, Brian worked for more than two decades as an editor and reporter at one of the leading legal magazines in the country. He also has years of advocacy experience from working with several AIDS and LGBT organizations in New York City. He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Texas. A fourth-generation Texan, Brian grew up in the community of Zabcikville, where he regularly deals with environmental issues as a farm owner.
