Montana’s hunting season has just opened, and the state is allowing all sorts of troubling methods to kill the majestic gray wolves. Fewer than 6,000 gray wolves remain in the lower 48 states, and radically expanded hunting and trapping in Montana, Idaho and other areas could wipe out wolves in the Northern Rockies.
We’re urging the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to restore protections for gray wolves in the Rocky Mountains before it’s too late. Will you donate to help save the gray wolf?
