At the annual public hearing of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission they called for a major expansion of the state parks system
UT Austin students and Environment Texas interns Sam Berman and Mimi Okhuysen urged the commissioners to push for a bold expansion of the state parks system. They pointed to growing public demand for recreation places and the needs of wildlife to advocate for the Million Acre Parks Project.
