This week 7-Eleven, one of America’s largest convenience store chains, announced plans to install electric vehicle chargers at its 13,000 7-Eleven locations in the U.S. and, eventually, Canada.
If 7-Eleven realizes its charging network plans, as long as drivers have installed the company’s proprietary app, they will be able to charge their electric vehicles while buying their Slurpee.
A number of states have already announced commitments to end the sale of new gas-powered cars in the coming decade. We need more leaders to get on board.
