On March 24th, Senate Majority Leader Cathy Giessel (R) from Anchorage, Senator Bjorkman (R) from the Kenai Peninsula, and Senator Elvi Gray-Jackson (D) from Anchorage became cosponsors of Senator Forrest Dunbar’s (D) Digital Right to Repair Act (SB 112).

This bipartisan support follows patterns seen federally and in other states. People want to be able to fix their own stuff.

The bill has been referred to the Labor and Commerce Committee to start. Senator Bjorkman chairs the committee, and both Senator Gray-Jackson and Senator Dunbar are members.
