In a Rorschach inkblot of a bison, what do you see?
What happens when a semi-Luddite asks AI to help save wildlife?
I recently asked an AI program to show me an inkblot of a bison. The one I was using, DALL.E2, complied.
This doesn’t exactly make me tech savvy, but I like the final result. See the tweet/post below.
What do you see in this inkblot: a bison in need of protection, sadness over what was lost on the Plains, or a bipartisan opportunity in Congress to save wildlife by passing the Recovering America's Wildlife Act? #RecoverWildlife pic.twitter.com/sSL82MkmRp

Note that 5 states have the non-AI bison, i.e. the real thing, on their state wildlife action plans. The bipartisan Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, introduced in the Senate by Sens. Martin Heinrich of New Mexico and Thom Tillis of North Carolina, would invest real money in these state-level wildlife plans, helping species that very much need a conservation boost.
Species such as the American bison.
