Tell the Interior Department: Don’t expand offshore drilling
Re: BOEM-2025-0015-0003
We, the undersigned, oppose expanding offshore drilling, especially to new areas like the eastern Gulf, the Atlantic, the Pacific and the parts of the Arctic that are currently off limits to drilling.
Opening the entire ocean to oil and gas leasing is unnecessary, and efforts to do so would put our coastlines at risk.
We should be protecting special places like the diverse coral reefs of Florida, the beautiful beaches of California, the abundant fisheries of the Atlantic, and the wild whale habitat of the Northern Bering Sea. Oil exploration in these sensitive areas could harm marine life, and a potential oil spill could be devastating.
