Tell your legislators: Save the bees
Dear legislator,
Bees are dying at alarming rates, threatening Washington’s ecosystems. One in four wild bee species, including the Western bumblebee, is at risk. Without bees, 90% of wild plants and key crops like berries, almonds, and coffee could suffer.
Neonicotinoid pesticides (neonics) harm bees’ nervous systems, disrupting foraging and causing colony collapse. To help, Washington should stop the use of neonic-coated seeds, which are having devastating impacts on pollinators.
Washington has led in pollinator protection before–let’s act again to save our bees and protect our ecosystems.
