Save the sea otters
The fur trade wiped out the otters in Oregon and, except for a few wily ones, did the same in California. Together, we have a chance to atone for these past mistakes.
To save the sea otters, we’re urging the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to take additional proactive steps for otters, including reintroducing sea otters where feasible and funding kelp restoration. We’re also urging Congress to pass the bipartisan Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, which would send funding to every state to protect at-risk species, including sea otters.
You can help make sure these adorable sea otters recover, and support all of our work to protect threatened wildlife. Will you donate today?
