Tell Home Depot: Don’t sell wood from critical habitat in the boreal forest
Home Depot CEO Ted Decker:
The boreal forest is the largest intact forest we have left on Earth — but if rampant logging continues, we could lose the nesting grounds for billions of birds and the home of the endangered woodland caribou.
As your company’s Sustainable Forestry Report noted, Canada’s forests are a key part of Home Depot’s wood supply. We urge you to do more to protect the boreal forest. Please commit to not sell wood from woodland caribou habitat and undisturbed parts of the boreal.
