California’s windy coastline offers a promising clean energy resource that can help us accelerate away from dirty and dangerous forms of power quickly in the form of offshore wind. As California embarks on building enough offshore wind infrastructure to power over 25 million homes, , we need to monitor impacts on ocean wildlife so that the best science and research guides decisions for future wind projects.

A new bill, AB 80, would establish a new offshore wind science center to ensure the best available scientific monitoring is happening.

California can go big on offshore wind and generate abundant clean energy while protecting our precious ocean ecosystems along the way. Tell your state legislators to pass AB 80.
