Good news for nature in Colorado!

The CORE Act and the Dolores River National Conservation Area and Special Management Area Act both passed out of the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources with bipartisan support in mid-December.

If passed, these two bills will protect 488,000 acres of critical habitat and outdoor recreation areas in Colorado. Thanks to Senators Bennet and Hickenlooper for introducing and championing this legislation to protect special places in our state.
