Tell the governor: Cut climate pollution by phasing out gas lawn equipment

They may be small, but gas-powered lawn and garden machines such as leaf blowers and lawn mowers produce a shocking amount of pollution — pound for pound even more than the cars and trucks we drive.

From greenhouse gasses to particulate matter, this equipment is a surprisingly large contributor to climate change and harmful health effects. Cleaner, quieter electric tools are readily available so there’s no reason we should allow so much pollution — and noise — in our communities just from cutting the grass.

Show your support by sending a message to the governor asking to ditch the dirtiest gas-powered lawn and garden equipment so we can cut climate pollution.
