Many migratory birds of the Mississippi flyway rely on Illinois wetlands for breeding and stopover habitat. Some threatened and endangered species of turtles and frogs live their whole life cycle in wetlands. Whether on the wing or in the water, these wildlife need wetlands. Unfortunately, Illinois has already lost over 90% of its wetlands, but there is an opportunity for Illinois to protect what remains.

This webinar is hosted by Environment Illinois and the Protect Illinois Waters coalition, featuring speakers from Shedd Aquarium and Audubon Great Lakes.
